Enzo Fernandez has lost the Instagram followers of Chelsea players Malo Gusto, Wesley Fofana, Axel Disasi, Christopher Nkunku, Malang Sarr, Benoit Badiashile, Romeo Lavia, Lesley Ugochukwu, and David Datro Fofana.
This happens after Fernandez’s contentious live video on Instagram, in which he and his Argentina teammates sang a racist song, went viral.
Fofana already commented on the incident calling it “uninhibited racism”, while the club are already investigating the clip.
The French Football Federation have also declared that they will be taking legal action against the Argentinian FA.
“Faced with the seriousness of these shocking remarks, contrary to the values of sport and human rights, the president of the FFF decided to directly challenge his Argentine counterpart and FIFA and to file a legal complaint for insulting remarks of a racial and discriminatory nature,” read an FFF statement.
