Chelsea appear to have left it too late to make their move for Alisson Becker.
Alisson has been considered the most likely target for Chelsea to pursue, should Thibaut Courtois decide to join Real Madrid this summer.
Recent reports claim that Courtois’ move to the Santiago Bernabeu is now just a matter of time, which means Chelsea’s search for a new keeper will begin.
If Maurizio Sarri and co approach Roma to enquire as to the situation surrounding Alisson, they’re in for a surprise.
According to the well informed Simon Johnson, Chelsea have left it too late. Alisson appears to be set to join Liverpool. See the below
From what I'm hearing, even if #cfc came in with a late bid now, it's too late. deal almost done with #lfc https://t.co/DHqHeCLBi8

It has been claimed that the deal to take Alisson to Anfield could be worth as much as €75M, a world-record fee for a goalkeeper.
Of course, it’s not over until Alisson is pictured leaning on the wall at Melwood, but this is a real cause for concern.
If not Alisson – then who? Options are scarce, without Courtois we will be desperate. These are concerning times.
