His addition comes after the removal of Marc Guehi and George McEachran from the same list after they left the club on loan this January.
Those are the only changes made to the Blues’ squad after no January signings joined Frank Lampard’s team.
Even players signed with Champions League appearances this season would have been able to play for us, thanks to the relaxed “cup tie” rules this season, but that won’t apply to us.
Tie will be seen as just coming in to bring an extra home-grown, club trained player for UEFA’s quota, and it would have to be quite some series of events for him to end up playing.
Then again with Kepa now potentially out of the picture – who knows what could happen.
