Chelsea’s pursuits of Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani could reportedly send Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.
When Ronaldo revealed his discontent at the Santiago Bernabeu following the Champions League final, we all thought the same thing – we’ve seen this before.
It’s a annual event. Doubt is casted over Ronaldo’s future at Real Madrid, before he signs a lucrative contract extension and speculation is put to bed.
This time it’s different. This time he actually could be on the move. At the time of writing, Juventus appears the most likely destination, but they need a little bit of help in order to fund the move.
According to TMW, Chelsea could be set to provide it. The Italian publication believe that our pursuits of Higuain and Rugani could raise as much as €100M, which could be reinvested into Ronaldo.
Some will argue that if we have that sort of money to throw about, we might as well go for Ronaldo ourselves…
