David Luiz has admitted that he is already enjoying playing under new Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri.
The Blues are currently getting to grips with life under their new manager as they look to try and enjoy a successful campaign under Antonio Conte’s successor.
Sarri was brought in last month after the west London side decided to part company with Conte at the end of last season, and the Italian manager oversaw a 3-0 win at Huddersfield Town in their Premier League opener on Saturday.
The 31-year-old defender played the full 90 minutes to help Sarri’s men claim the three points in their Premier League opener.
And David Luiz has admitted that he is very much enjoying life under new boss Sarri following his appointment last month.
Speaking to Chelsea FC’s website, Luiz said: “We have a new philosophy which we are trying hard to learn every day as quickly as possible, in order to play well and fight for the title.
“He’s a great coach with a great philosophy. He’s passionate and we work every day on the details so I think he’s going to bring a lot of good things to Chelsea and the Premier League.
“It’s an offensive style of football, playing high with pressure and a lot of possession, it’s a great style.”
Chelsea FC will be aiming to mount a Premier League title challenge this season after the Blues finished fifth in the Premier League and won the FA Cup last term.
The west London side beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final back in May but struggled to produce consistent performances in the Premier League under Conte last season.
