Didier Drogba has reacted brilliantly to Tammy Abraham’s recent confessions, as the current Blues’ striker has revealed the Ivorian was his childhood hero.
“I have so many stories from when I was younger watching him, growing up watching such a talented striker,”
Abraham told Mirror. “I’ve always wanted to be like him, always hungry to score goals.
“Just looking at him he had that appearance about him. And I’ve always wanted to add that to my game. So to follow in his footsteps is always nice.”
Drogba who has always been proud to be in the Chelsea family replied with an Instagram story which later was shared by his hopeful heir as the Blues’ chief striker.
“Gob bless you, son,” the caption reads over a photo of Abraham’s interview in the newspaper.
