As the November international break approaches, Chelsea is currently nine points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool.
However, Roy Keane, a great of Manchester United, is completely skeptical that Enzo Maresca’s team will win the championship this year.
He claimed on the Rest is Football podcast: “Don’t look down on Chelse, Forget about it. They are a dangerous team. They are making progress. They lost to City and Liverpool, drew with United. There’s a bit to go for them.”
The Blues might have yet to have won any major Premier League game, but have shown major improvement under Enzo Maresca to get themselves back into the top-4 race.
While winning the Premier League title was never the expectation from the gaffer, he’ll want his side to keep push on and win matches more consistently going forward. After that, who knows?
