Eden Hazard has warned Liverpool FC that Chelsea FC are determined to finish above them in the Premier League table this season.
The Blues have made a solid start to the new campaign and they maintained their 100 per cent start to the season on Saturday when they claimed a 2-0 win over Bournemouth in front of their home fans.
Chelsea FC are aiming to be one of the main contenders for the title this season as they get used to life under new manager Maurizio Sarri following his appointment as Antonio Conte’s successor back in July.
Hazard has been in good form for the Blues and he netted their second goal in their 2-0 win over Bournemouth last weekend.
Liverpool FC have also been in top form so far this season, with the Reds having won all four of their opening games to lead the way at the top of the Premier League table.
And Hazard says that he and his Chelsea FC team-mates are determined to competed with the likes of Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the title this season.
Speaking in an interview quoted by Metro, Hazard said: “Of course, in the end we want to compete for the first three places.
“We want to be champions at the end although we know it will be hard because Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham are very strong. So we will see at the end, but we want to be at the top.”
Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action after the international break when they take on Cardiff City in front of their home fans at Stamford Bridge.
