Eden Hazard sends a massive message to Maurizio Sarri

As the first half of the season has come to its end in the Premier League, Eden Hazard has recently commented on what changes Chelsea have faced after the appointment of Maurizio Sarri who replaced Antonio Conte’.

The Belgian has no doubts his team is doing better in comparison to the last year.

“We do a lot of tactical work, and you can see on the pitch we have improved a lot from last year. We have adapted to the new system. We have brought new players.

Jorginho is helping a lot, Kovacic, the new goalkeeper Kepa is already very good. Everything is going well. The manager is talking a lot to us which is good.”

Such optimism doesn’t quite correspond to Chelsea’s position in the Premier League.

There’s only a one point difference between the club’s current standing in the league table and the last season’s result after 19 matchdays under Antonio Conte as Maurizio Sarri’s side are 11 points behind Liverpool who remain unbeaten.

The Blues’ manager himself has ruled out the possibility of winning the Premier League title this season: “It was impossible from the beginning of the season. As I said at the beginning of the Premier League it is impossible to catch Liverpool and Manchester City. We have to be careful to stay close to the first four positions.”
