Chelsea have a fight on their hands to keep Eden Hazard out the clutches of Real Madrid, but the fans are doing everything in their power to prevent him leaving.

As reported by the Guardian, Hazard himself has admitted that it is his dream to move to the Santiago Bernabeu and play in the famous Real Madrid shirt.

Hazard has been influential in recent successes at Stamford Bridge, so even the slightest indication that he could be leaving the club is enough to frighten the fan-base.

Chelsea fans moved into action and created a banner to honour our talisman. It was debuted before Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.

Hazard may not have been able to use the inspiration from the banner to lead us to victory over the Red Devils, but he made his appreciation known.

Hazard took to his Instagram account to react to the United game. The second image in the slideshow he posted was of him with the banner in the background.

The 27-year-old also thanked the fans for the support he has received. Hopefully this is one step closer to convincing him to commit his future to Chelsea.
