Spanish sources claim that after speaking with Florian Wirtz’s representation over a possible transfer to Stamford Bridge, CHELSEA has advanced in their pursuit of the offensive midfielder from Bayer Leverkusen.

And that has led to reports that the club will once again delve into that transfer kitty in the January window and try to add a few new players, with Wirtz a man that the club now want after another impressive season for Bayer Leverkusen this time around
The 21-year-old forward is one of the rising stars of European football and reports that the Blues hold a ‘strong interest’ in the Germany international. It is said that Wirtz is on the club’s ‘radar’.
The Leverkusen midfielder had a stellar season in the club’s unbeaten domestic campaign, scoring 18 goals and registering 20 assists on the way to the Bundesliga and German Cup trophies.
