Enzo Maresca told £50M star will be good signing for Chelsea as Blues to confirm new signing this week

Pedro Neto, who has been linked to Chelsea, is a good backup for Bukayo Saka at the Emirates, according to Arsenal icon David Seaman.

During the last summer transfer window, Arsenal completed some of the best business in the Premier League and acquired players who would establish them as strong candidates to win the league.

Since joining the Emirates over the summer, players like Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, David Raya, and Jurrien Timber have all left their mark. However, Mikel Arteta wants to continue strengthening his squad in the upcoming transfer windows, which has led to rumors that Pedro Neto is desired.

However – there has been alot of transfer speculation that CHELSEA could also make a move for the player over the next few months – as they are very interested in paying £50 million for the player and help improve the attack.

However – amid all the rumours – Seaman has opened up and claimed that that Arsenal would probably be the better move – Speaking to Betway, David Seaman said: “I’ve enjoyed watching Pedro Neto play for Portugal in this tournament and I would take him at Arsenal all day long.

“He’s a perfect fit as a back-up for Saka, he’s creative and he would put pressure on other players in the squad as well. I think he’s a really good player.

“I think the fee to get him would be decent, but not massive as it would reflect his injury problems. When you see him on the pitch, he’s special…”

Blues to confirm new signing this week

Chelsea are set to confirm another new signing, as the Blues have snapped up Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa.

The medical has already been completed, and all that’s left is an official confirmation.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Aston Villa have reached a full agreement on the transfer of Omari Kellyman.

“Chelsea and Aston Villa signed all documents for Omari Kellyman deal, valued at £19m. Official statement expected this week,” he tweeted.
