Enzo Maresca told to sign brilliant £87M attacker as City complete signing of Chelsea midfielder

Chelsea legend Pat Nevin has stated that he would be thrilled to see Khvicha Kvaratskhelia join the team from Napoli.

Now that the summer transfer window has opened, there is a lot of conjecture in the media regarding the potential additions to the CHELSEA board that might help the team contend for the Premier League championship.

All of the major teams have been connected to Kvaratskhelia over the last several seasons, and if his £87 million asking price is fulfilled, the midfielder is widely expected to depart Napoli this summer.

And amid the speculation – Nevin has opened up and revealed that the talented winger is the dream signing for him at Chelsea – Speaking to Genting Casinos, Pat Nevin said:

“My dream signing for Chelsea this summer is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. He’s a great player with a great personality and he’s old school and modern at the same time.

“He’s doing it for Georgia and Napoli, put him in a top team and he could be extra special. I’d love to see him playing in the Premier League. Absolutely love it.

“If Chelsea can make one big signing, that would be the one. He’s skilful, he dribbles, he runs with the ball, he’s good in the air, he takes players on. You name it. He also does it while smiling and loving every second of it.”

Leicester City complete signing of Chelsea midfielder

Leicester City have completed the signing of Chelsea midfielder Michael Golding for a reported fee of around £5 million.
The Foxes recently sold midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to the Blues for £30m. As part of the deal, it was agreed that the Midlands outfit would buy someone from the west London giants.

Instead of signing a first-team star, the club went ahead to secure a deal for Golding, who is considered as a potential star for the future. Steve Cooper gave the green light for the youngster’s move.

Golding was unlikely to break into the first-team plans of Chelsea, but he could now have an opening with the Foxes, who will be keen to impress on their return to the Premier League after one season.

The Foxes face a tough task of beating the drop despite their previous history in the division. With their PSR concerns, they are not in a position to spend big and may have to rely on cut-price deals.
