Meanwhile, reports claim that both Chelsea and Manchester United have made contact over a possible move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani.
French publication L’Equipe had claimed that Atletico Madrid are leading the race to sign Cavani on a free transfer with a pre-contract agreement on the table.
However, the French outlet also claimed that Atletico’s interest has alerted Man Utd and Chelsea, who hope to hijack the deal from Atletico.
Cavani’s contract with PSG ends during the summer, and clubs interested in him could sign him at the end of the season for free.
Cavani will turn 33 next month and would only be a short-term solution for any club who chooses to sign him.
