“Exit door is open” “You can go to Chelsea” – La Liga club send warning to player who wants Chelsea move
Goalie Andriy Lunin, who wishes to leave Real Madrid, has received a warning from the club.
Andriy Lunin and any other player who may be questioning their position at Real Madrid have received a strong warning from the team: “When you doubt being at Real Madrid, the exit door is OPEN.”
Lunin is currently looking for a move away from the club where he can play regularly after having a great season.
Real Madrid’s first-choice goalkeeper is without a doubt Thibaut Courtois, with Lunin filling in as backup.
However, Lunin proved himself in the absence of Thibaut Courtois last season, as Real Madrid went on to win the La Liga and Champions League.
Lunin is now attracting interest from Chelsea, and he has made it clear that he wants to leave Real Madrid if he’s not going to be a starter next season.
Real Madrid are however unwilling to guarantee him that role and are considering signing Kepa Arrizabalaga as a backup.
The club has set a price tag of €30 million on Lunin, signalling that they are okay with his departure.
