FINALLY! Chelsea finally reach agreement with club for striker
After much negotiation, Chelsea and a club have agreed to send David Datro Fofana on loan.
Chelsea attempted to arrange a loan transfer for Fofana to AEK Athens, but the agreement fell through at the last minute.
The Greek team reportedly tried to modify the loan’s conditions and objected to a £20 million buyout option.
Just a day after, it now appears that Chelsea have managed to secure a transfer for the 21-year-old striker, who will now be loaned to Turkish side Goztepe.
According to the Independent, the conditions of the loan are similar to the one that would have seen him move to Athens, with an option to buy worth £20million and a clause that allows Chelsea to re-call him in January.
