According to Sport1 via The Sun, Chelsea have offered Bayern Munich prospect Torben Rhein a contract starting in 2020.
The 16 year old attacking midfielder is one of Germany’s biggest starlets having represented his country’s Under-16 side on numerous occasions.
Rhein scored 12 goals and provided four assists for Bayern’s U17s last season and has already established in their U19s this season.
Chelsea have reportedly offered the young midfielder a lucrative professional contract from 2020 and want him in the first team as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller says he is already aware of the threat posed by Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic ahead of Bayern Munich’s Champions League clash with Chelsea. “With Chelsea, I haven’t seen a lot of them besides their results, but it doesn’t seem to be going so well at the moment,” Muller said.
“But of course they have players in their attack who can hurt us. “Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic have qualities but football is not about individuals, it’s about team performance. “We are relatively confident, I feel pretty good with the draw.
“You [the German media] have already planted Bayern as the favourite, I like that, that’s exactly what we want.”
