According to The Sun, Chelsea are close to signing Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho for a club record transfer fee.
Borussia Dortmund value the 19 year old England international for £120 million and the Blues have reportedly told the German club they are prepared to meet their valuation of Sancho.
The Blues boss Frank Lampard has made no secret of his desire to bring in an attacking player he feels will fill the void left by Eden Hazard’s departure for Real Madrid and he believes Sancho is the perfect replacement for the Belgian.
Sancho has scored 9 goals and provided 9 assists in 15 Bundesliga games for Borussia Dortmund this season. Lampard is reportedly impressed with his goal record and also his impressive assist numbers.
Dortmund are determined to keep Sancho until the end of the season knowing he is vital to their hopes of winning the Bundesliga title this season despite Chelsea’s offer to meet their valuation.
The Blues might have to sign Sancho and loan him back to Dortmund for the rest of the season as we did with the transfer of Christian Pulisic.
However, The blues need to sign him on time now if we sign him and loan him back like Pulisic still good than not able to sign him.
