Manchester United inflicted a damaging defeat on Chelsea on Monday night, and the Blues look like they’re in a serious negative confidence spiral at the moment.
The endless bad injury news coming out of the dressing room doesn’t help either, nor does the prospect of our extremely tough fixtures over the next couple of months.
But in a rare ray of sunshine from the dreadful last couple of months, it’s been revealed today that Tottenham attacker Heung-Min Son will miss this weekend’s game against us.
The South Korea star picked up an arm injury at the weekend, and will now miss some time. With Harry Kane already out injured, that’s a big blow to Jose Mourinho’s team.
They are now seriously depleted in attack, and may have to turn to exciting young talent Troy Parrott to save them.
On the other hand, given we may be starting a front three of Batshuayi, Pedro and Willian again, we’re hardly in a much better position.
Injury update on Heung-Min Son.
