‘Haaland to Chelsea is very possible! As reports finally reveals who is stopping Haaland’s move to Chelsea
The Haaland saga continues as the Blues still not giving up yet on the deal.
However, Chelsea’s interest in Erling Haaland is genuine, but Borussia Dortmund is not an easy club to deal with. You can ask Manchester United who used two years to secure the signing of Jadon Sancho.
Chelsea want to win the league next season and need a striker who can score 20+ goals a season. The Blues have identified Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland as that man, and the club is willing to spend £150m to bring him to the Premier League.
Just last week, Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol had described the move as mission impossible.
“It’s going to be very difficult,” Kaveh Solhekol told Sky Sports News. “It’s no secret that Chelsea want to sign a number nine this summer. And Erling Haaland is their number one target.”
He went on to add: “As far as Haaland is concerned, Borussia Dortmund are saying he is not for sale, even though he has this release clause in his contract which means he could leave next summer for about £75m.”
However, football reporter Angelo Mangiante has said ‘Haaland is not mission impossible’ as he claims the deal is very possible and remains the Blues’ ‘main summer goal’.
According to his report, the striker’s agent Mino Raiola and father Alfie Haaland are aware of ‘concrete interest’ from Chelsea this summer. However, he claims that the major obstacle is Dortmund who don’t want to lose their striker this summer.
Reports claim it will only take a massive bid from Chelsea to sign up Haaland this summer.
Chelsea’s search for a striker hasn’t gone as planned, and there are little hopes that the Blues will be able to sign a top class striker this summer.
