Hakim Ziyech has spoken about his upcoming move to Chelsea, after the Blues confirmed that terms have been agreed on a five-year contract.
Chelsea had already confirmed earlier this month that a deal had been reached to sign the Morocco international in the summer in a move worth £33.5m.
Ziyech will become Frank Lampard’s first signing at Chelsea, following the transfer ban last summer and the frustrations that the Blues endured during the recent January transfer window.
And speaking to the official Chelsea website, the playmaker admitted he was excited to join the Blues.
“I am delighted and proud to have signed for such a huge club as Chelsea. I am looking forward to next season and hope we can achieve great things together.”
Welcome to Chelsea Ziyech!
