“He almost finish us” “Every coach would wish to have him in their team” – Crystal Palace manager hails Chelsea best player in 1-1 draw against Palace

In Sunday’s London derby at Selhurst Park between Crystal Palace and Chelsea, Eberechi Eze’s curler in the second half cancelled out Nicolas Jackson’s goal, holding Chelsea to a 1-1 draw.

Oliver Glasner, the manager of Crystal Palace, complimented Cole Palmer, the star player for Chelsea, on his performance after the blues ran shows despite losing.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Glasner said:

“It’s great that the team performed well in both halves, but you really need to give players like Cole Palmer credit.”

“He’s still pulling the strings, dealing with straight bums,” he continued.

“Every coach would wish to have him play for their team”

After Cole Palmer signed a £42.5 million agreement to join the Blues from Manchester City in the summer of 2023, his career has been on an extraordinary upward trajectory.

As we approach the first international break of the season, Blues are currently 11th in the table with one win, one draw, and one loss, while Crystal Palace are on one point. Enzo Maresca’s team will play their next game away against Bournemouth.
