“He keeps getting better and better” “Please start the BEAST on Sunday” – Fans jheap praise on Chelsea star after what he did in International duty

Moises Caicedo, a Chelsea midfielder, put in an all-action performance during Ecuador’s 0-0 tie with Uruguay on Tuesday night.

The 22-year-old won three tackles, made two interceptions, and retrieved the ball ten times to help his country keep a clean sheet. He has had a strong start to the season for both Chelsea and Ecuador, with fans on X now believing that they are getting the best out of the player.

Caicedo had a large price tag to live up to.
It’s safe to say that the British record transfer fee weighed heavy on the midfielder’s shoulders for quite some time.

Caicedo struggled for the majority of his first season at Stamford Bridge, and he was almost unrecognisable from the player who performed so well at Brighton.

However, slowly but surely, the Ecuadorian international has begun to show his true colours.

Who should partner him in Chelsea’s midfield?
With Romeo Lavia back fit and available, it will be interesting to see what head coach Enzo Maresca decides to do in terms of who will start in the middle of the park.

Enzo Fernandez has put in some decent performances alongside Caicedo in recent weeks, but Lavia could arguably complement the Ecuadorian more with his skillset. It is a good problem for the manager to have.
