He made me a better player – Chelsea star admits love for Thomas Tuchel
According to latest report, Chelsea star Kai Havertz has praised new Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel, saying the 49-year-old made him a “better player” at Chelsea.
Havertz, who played under Tuchel from January 2021 to September 2022, was particularly impressed by his former manager’s meticulousness.
“We worked every day to make sure every pass was played with the right amount of power. Not too soft, not too hard, but sharp – just perfect,” the 23-year-old told Bild’s “Phrasenmäher” podcast.
“No matter how good the games were, if you had a bad pass, he was never completely satisfied.
“He definitely made me a better player. He taught me how important every little detail is.”
