Here’s how the Premier League would have looked if there was no VAR

VAR was introduced in the Premier League this season and the English top-flight was one of the last major leagues to incorporate the new technology and all along their argument was that they wanted time to make the system full-proof.

But the reality is completely different since not a single week goes by when one team or the other does not end up complaining about VAR.

From failures to check red card offences to ruling out genuine penalty claims, the new tech has made a bag full of blunders and some teams have benefitted much more than their counterparts.

And recently legendary manager Arsene Wenger has also provided some suggestions to make VAR error-free.

“[I’m speaking about] the offside by a margin of a fraction of a centimetres,” said the former Arsenal manager.

“Maybe there is room to change the offside rule a little bit so we don’t say a part of his nose was offside.”

Now our good friends at talkSPORT have compiled the refreshed table if the Premier League did not have the Video Assistant Referee this season.
