“He’s free to go to Chelsea” – Todd Bohely told to PAY £90 million and complete signing of leadership player

It has been suggested that Chelsea should try to capture Barcelona star Ronaldo Araujo this summer window for a hefty sum of money.

Although a lot of players have already been brought to Stamford Bridge in recent weeks, there’s a perception in the media that Chelsea needs to add individuals who have established themselves as elite players and who have the ability to have an instant impact.

Due to an injury that occurred last month, Araujo is anticipated to miss the first few games of the season. As a result, Barcelona may decide to leave him off of their roster for the early part of the season.

Araujo is reportedly upset about this and is now considering leaving the team this summer, according to SPORT.

Barcelona are standing firm over Araujo’s availability and will not consider selling the 25-year-old unless they receive a transfer fee above €100m (£84.6m).

The report claims that Chelsea, United and Bayern Munich, who tried to sign Araujo in the January transfer window, have all made approaches for the defender.

But if you believe the words of reporter – Chelsea should pay that for Araujo – he told Chelsea247: ‘If Barcelona make the decision to sell the defender in the Summer window – he would be a brilliant addition to that CHELSEA side – especially now that Thiago Silva has left the club and headed back to Brazilian football.

‘Maresca will want players that are proven at the very top of the game and he will need the backing of the board if he is to get the players he feels could take the club forward in the coming season.

‘Araujo would be a great signing for the club that is for sure and would that would improve that Blues back-line – CHELSEA should pay that £80 million for the defender.

‘They are wasting millions on talents – Araujo is proven – he is quality – he is the leader that could replace Thiago Silva.’
