“He’s my dream signing for Chelsea” “He’s a old school and modern player” – Enzo Maresca told to sign €80m attacker who plays more than Raheem Sterling, Mudryk & Co

Pat Nevin, a former player for Chelsea, has identified Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Napoli as his ideal summer addition to the team.

The Blues have already signed Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu, Omari Kellyman, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Estevao Willian, who will join in 2025, and others during the frenetic transfer window.

After Chelsea and FC Basel reached an agreement for a transaction around €14 million, Portugal under-20 international Renato Veiga is expected to become the club’s sixth summer addition. However, the Blues are still believed to be looking for a striker and winger.

Nevin would adore Kvaratskhelia to be signed by Chelsea.

Chelsea attempted to sign Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise, but they withdrew out of the agreement because they believed the costs would be too high.

Despite having the likes of Noni Madueke, Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling, with Cole Palmer and Christopher Nkunku who can also play in the wide areas, Chelsea are looking at bringing a wide player in.

The club have been linked with Leeds star Crysencio Summerville who could be available for around £30m, with Liverpool also interested, but nothing has materialised yet.

Keeping on the theme of wingers, ex-Blue Nevin has named his dream summer signing as Kvaratskhelia, adding he would love to see him in the Premier League.

“My dream signing for Chelsea this summer is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia,” he told Genting Casinos.

“He’s a great player with a great personality and he’s old school and modern at the same time.

“He’s doing it for Georgia and Napoli, put him in a top team and he could be extra special.

“I’d love to see him playing in the Premier League. Absolutely love it. If Chelsea can make one big signing, that would be the one.

“He’s skilful, he dribbles, he runs with the ball, he’s good in the air, he takes players on. You name it. He also does it while smiling and loving every second of it.”
