“He’s not for sale” “I love his style of play” – Todd Bohely confirms Chelsea star is not for sale
Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has revealed the club’s stance on Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos.
Santos has impressed on loan with Ligue One side Strasbourg, and is now set be integrated into the Chelsea first team.
According to Boehly, Santos is not for sale this summer.
Speaking at the Qatar Economic Forum, Boehly emphasised the club’s focus on the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup and highlighted Santos’s role in their plans:
“We are laser focused on the Club World Cup. We have some players that are joining us like Andrey Santos. We are really excited about him and what he can add to the squad.”
Santos joined Chelsea in 2023, and has now had loan spells at Nottingham Forest and Strasbourg.
It is his performances at Strasbourg that have caught the eyes, with 11 goals in 34 appearances.
There have been massive interest in the young Brazilian, but Chelsea have made the decision for him to return and fight for a place alongside Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and Romeo Lavia.
