Chelsea supporters will be very happy with the latest report that suggests the team have finally sealed a loan deal for Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain.

The player’s speculated move to Stamford Bridge has been making headlines for over four weeks as the West London club couldn’t achieve a breakthrough in their discussion with AC Milan for the striker.

After lots of rumours, the Blues now have the player on loan for the rest of the season. They also have a chance to sign him permanently should he perform greatly with the team.

However, the Blues are yet to officially confirm his signature and that means he still remains an AC Milan player until the official procedures are taken.

With some hours to Tottenham’s challenge, it is yet to be seen if the Argentine will make his Chelsea debut at Stamford Bridge after being unveiled to the Stamford Bridge faithfuls tomorrow.

The Blues must be in fine form against the North London club if they must progress to the final round of this season’s Carabao cup.

Sarri’s men were defeated 1-0 by Tottenham Hotspur in the reverse fixture a fortnight ago, meaning the Blues must win convincingly and they must avoid conceding any goal.

Luckily for Chelsea, Tottenham’s dangerous players won’t be involved in Thursday’s game. Harry Kane and Dele are out due to injury, while Son is currently with his national team (South Korea) at the ongoing Asian cup.
