The Blues are now leading 2-0 against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup fourth-round tie. Chelsea opened the score in the 26th minute as Willian scored his 50th goal for the club in all competitions from the spot.
Albeit, it could’ve been Gonzalo Higuain as the Brazilian offered the Blues’ newcomer to convert a penalty in his Chelsea debut.
Higuain unexpectedly refused to open his Chelsea goal count and let Wiliian make it 1-0 for the Blues.
Some of Chelsea fans reacted to the 31-year-old’s decision labelling it as a ‘good gesture’ and a true class showing:
Willian offered his penalty to Higuain and the Argentinian declined. Class act from both 👏🏻. Prober Chelsea 🔵
