“His low mentality will ruin us” “He needs to leave us” – Mikel Obi ‘Hits’ at Chelsea man after latest comments on club
Former Chelsea man Mikel Obi has been so much in on Chelsea this season after his old club has suffered a lot after the new takeover takes on the club…
However, Chelsea has been struggling to get back on winning trophies since the takeover.. however Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has claimed the club owners are said to him the club is not ready to win titles now or even Top4 .
Says the club will be ready for that in the next 5 or 10years…
During Enzo Maresca press conference Maresca said:

“I grew up watching Chelsea winning games and competitions, but this Chelsea is not the same as that one. We are not ready to compete in four competitions in one season in this moment.”
“This club for the next 5, 10 years can compete for titles no doubt. In this moment Chelsea are in a process to arrive in that position. But we are not ready after 6 months together.”
“There are clubs that have been together for three, four, five years but they still struggle. Why should Chelsea, after six months, be winning the Premier League, finish top four or win four competitions? Why?”
“I don’t think this Chelsea can be compared to that Chelsea [which used to win titles]. Our goal, our duty, is to bring this club to compete in 4 competitions, but in this moment we are not ready.”
“I try to convince the players every day that this club belongs to something different than where we are now”
“Chelsea not the same as club that regularly competed for trophies.”
Meanwhile, Former Chelsea player Mikel Obi slams Maresca on not wanting Chelsea to win trophies now .
“I don’t know what’s Enzo Maresca is thinking..as a manager in your first season at the club you have done well in the first half of the season , I don’t see why you can’t continue with the mentality and stop telling the players are not ready to fight for Top4 or winning trophies…Chelsea is a club of winning trophies and playing in the champions League”
“I can say we should fight for the Top4 this season and play on the Champions League and also fight for the titles next season”
“This kind of mentality will surely ruins players mentality of winning trophies at the club Maresca should change those mentality and insert that winning mentality to those players ..if he can’t then he should go”
“As from next season Chelsea needs to be winning major trophies and even try to win the Premeir League”
