They say that Liverpool, previously named as among our top competition for the youngster, have pulled out of the race to sign Werner after yesterday confirming the transfer of Takumi Minamino.
So while we’re gutted to miss out on the young Japanese superstar, it’s great to hear that that move has potentially allowed us to make this one for another brilliant young Red Bull talent.
