The Blues is back to the Premeir League action after qualifying for the Conference league final after victory over Djurgarden as Chelsea set to take on Newcastle on Sunday afternoon.
However, The Blues has the chance to go 3rd on the Premeir League for Champions League Football after Manchester City drop points against relegation Southampton.
Now, Chelsea legend John Mikel Obi has called for Enzo Maresca to try and secure this 3points against Newcastle side this afternoon.
Mikel suggested Enzo Maresca needs to start Romeo Lavia in that midfield against Newcastle which will also involve Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.
Mikel Obi said: “Newcastle is a strong side and I believe we have what it takes to secure 3points today against Newcastle”
“Maresca needs to start Romeo Lavia to balance the Chelsea game , he’s a player that seems whenever he’s on the pitch our midfield looks solid with him…we need that momentum..this will surely help us to hold the midfield well and can surely win the game if he can play 90mins”
