The Club World Cup final between Chelsea and PSG was marred by scenes after the final whistle.
In the middle of a brawl after quite a heated game, Luis Enrique emerged and appeared to slap Chelsea’s Joao Pedro who ended up on the ground.
Speaking after the game, the PSG boss insisted his intention was not to hurt anybody.
“Sure, the heat of the game was on me but I can’t take it anymore because of the pressure on my players after the game”
“This was completely avoidable at the end,” the Spaniard said.
“My goal is always to try to separate the footballers. That was my goal. There’s tension. There’s pressure.”
PSG suffered a shocking 3-0 defeat, with Chelsea effectively sealing the deal before the half-time.
