“I can’t take this again” “Am losing my patience” – Enzo Maresca frustrated with one Chelsea star despite 2-0 win over Servette
Chelsea defeated Servette, a Swiss team, 2-0 to begin their European Conference League season.
Chelsea played a laborious first half and were rather lackluster; the second half was considerably better.
Chelsea won thanks to goals in the second half from Christopher Nkunku and Noni Madueke.
By Chelsea’s standards, the first half was quite subpar, and Mykhailo Mudryk stood out as one player who appeared off-kilter.
According to reporter Ryan Taylor who was present at the game, Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca paid special attention to Mykhailo Mudryk in the first 45 minutes of the game.
“Enzo Maresca is losing patience with Mykhailo Mudryk,” Taylor tweeted.
“He’s been incredibly indecisive & wasted several promising attacks. Maresca is trying to coach him through the game but Mudryk looks lost out of possession. Doesn’t know where or when to press.”
This is Mudryk’s first game under Enzo Maresca, and he didn’t show his worth, especially in the first half.
Enzo Maresca has shown that he can take the hard decisions, as he has told the likes of Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell to leave the club.
