“I can’t take this” “Listen to me”- Angry Enzo Maresca shows his frustration on Chelsea star in training

As the new Blues manager gets his team ready for the US preseason tour, Enzo Maresca expresses his dissatisfaction with one Chelsea player during practice.

When a video from a Cobham training session was made public, Enzo Maresca was unable to contain his annoyance with one Chelsea player.

Now that Euro 2024 is over, attention is shifting to Premier League clubs as they get ready for the upcoming campaign.

Chelsea, who signed former Leicester City manager Maresca, is one team in particular that supporters will be looking forward to seeing this season.

The Italian, who formerly worked with Pep Guardiola at Man City, replaced Mauricio Pochettino in his only season in charge at Stamford Bridge.

But it appears he may have a lot of work cut out fr him if we he wants to get the Blues challenging for a top four spot.

In a training clip, Maresca can be heard telling winger Noni Madueke, ‘Noni, two touches, three touches is too much.’

Maresca, 44, was revealed as the new Chelsea boss last month on a five-year contract, which began on July 1.

The Italian has already made four signings, raiding his former club Leicester City by acquiring midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for a deal worth £30m, on top of bringing in Marc Guiu, Omari Kellyman and Tosin Adarabioyo.

Enzo Maresca couldn’t hide his frustration with one Chelsea player in footage from latest training session

After an exciting start to the transfer window, Maresca told Chelsea’s media team: ‘Just trust the process, trust the idea, be behind the team.’

He added: ‘For sure we are going to enjoy the journey. Like at every club, for every manager, it will not be easy because nothing is easy. But for sure we are going to enjoy our journey.’

Blues supporters have endured a tumultuous two years after witnessing, 12th and sixth-placed finishes, with three permanent bosses in that time, as well as a brief spells under Bruno Saltor and Frank Lampard.

But with Maresca now taking the reins, he wants to build a strong bond with those who follow the west London side.
