“I don’t know why Chelsea sold him” “I still speak with him” – Thiago Silva challenge Enzo Maresca for selling £50M key Chelsea player

Most Chelsea academy graduates were not allowed to play for their boyhood club because of recent rumors that the Blues will be fourteen players short before the new season begins.

As the fates of players like Raheem Sterling and Trevor Chalobah are rumored to be up for grabs, Enzo Maresca has already been given his 26-man training roster for the 2017 season. Prior to the team’s 0-2 loss at Stanford Bridge, Enzo Maresca had voiced his displeasure on SkpSport on the absence of most of its players.

Enzo Maresca made the following statement prior to the press conference: “I know that they needed to be here, but sometimes you have to make decisions.” By the time the summer transfer market opened, Chelsea had already seen the majority of its academy players leave West London.

Conor Gallagher, who was earlier in the month linked to a move to Athletico Madrid, was finally acquired by the Blues, despite some setbacks when Samu Omorodion’s deal fell through.

However, Athletico’s dream acquisition, Conor Gallagher, arrived in Spain this morning after Chelsea’s bid for Joao Felix, who proved to be the ideal substitute for Samu, was accepted.

In an effort to complete the transfer before the window closes on the 30th, Enzo Maresca is increasing pressure on Chelsea to cave in to Trevor Chalobah’s move. Since Maresca had rejected him during the preseason trip to the United States, the Blues had earlier announced that they would be without the Englishman. The footballer further distanced himself from west London as he was later barred from training at Cobham.

Trevor had previously stated that he would give Chelsea everything he had, but it appeared that the management had rejected his aspirations. Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa, and Manchester United are reportedly planning to sign the youthful talent.

The player, meanwhile, originally declined Nottingham and now appears to be choosing to join either Aston Villa or Manchester United, the two remaining alternatives.

Endo Maresca is prepared to expedite the transaction, as Chelsea may complete the acquisition of the youthful talent prior to the weekend, as they continue to monitor further players.

In response to Chalobah and Conor Gallagher departing Chelsea, Thiago Silva said: “Conor Gallagher was one of Chelsea’s best player last season and should have given some chances under Enzo Maresca to prove himself at least”

“Chalobah was my boy and a great defender he should have also given the chance as well hopefully Maresca can give him the chance to prove himself”

“Try and see his perspective of a good defender i play with him last season and he’s far reliable at back 3 formation” remarked he.
