“I know he could torment us but we’re ready for him” – Van Nistelrooy vows to hold ONE Chelsea man who could cause Havoc at Old trafford..NOT COLE PALMER
On Sunday, Chelsea will visit Manchester United in an attempt to win the Premier League at Old Trafford for the first time since 2013.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has won nine of his first 15 games in all competitions, which is a good start. However, the Blues’ next two league games before this month’s international break are against Man United and Arsenal.
Chelsea’s projected starting lineup against Manchester United does feature significant alterations from the team’s Carabao Cup loss to Newcastle United in the middle of the week.
Ruud van Nistelrooy is now in charge of Man United as the team’s interim manager until Ruben Amorim formally assumes leadership later in November.
Ruud van Nistelrooy extremely wary of Chelsea attack
Man United interim Van Nistelrooy has paid credit to upcoming opponents Chelsea. In particular, he’s concerned about the Blues firepower going forward, which could determine the result.
Van Nistelrooy said via Man United’s official website: “Yeah, it’s going to be a big match, a tough one. Chelsea playing really well at the moment. Lots of attacking power players who can decide the game esspecially NICOLAS JACKSON he got the pace, scoring lots of goals, playing very well on the ball. So, we’re going to have to be at our very best, you know, to get a result, to get a good game.
“It’s obviously what we want. We want to try and win it. But we also respect the opponent, know their qualities, and [what] we have to do. Yeah, we have to really be together and strong, you know, to stop them. And from there, see what we can do, you know, to win the game.”
