“I like him” “Wish to work with him” – Mikel Arteta says on Chelsea star
Raheem Sterling of Chelsea is the subject of “strong feelings” for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, he has acknowledged.
In answer to a query about whether or not he might be tempted to pursue Sterling, Arteta made this statement on Friday.
Enzo Maresca banished Sterling from Stamford Bridge, and he plans to relocate this summer.
When Arteta was Manchester City’s assistant coach under Pep Guardiola, he collaborated with the England international.
He told reporters: “My time with Raheem was exceptional. We built a really strong relationship together.
“I really like him alot, he’s an exceptional player”
“He was unbelievable at that time. He taught me a lot as well, about individuals, how they think, how we support them. He is someone I have really strong feelings about.”
