“I love his versatility” – Chelsea wants to sign 26-years-old out of favour star in January
Chelsea contacts European powerhouses to inquire about the terms of a possible move for an out-of-favor star.
Randal Kolo Muani, a forward for Paris Saint-Germain, is reportedly a target for Chelsea due to his flexibility.
The Blues are known to be interested in signing a striker, but it is anticipated that they will stay quiet during the next January transfer window.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for Liam Delap, with Enzo Maresca full of praise for the striker ahead of Monday night’s game against Ipswich.
Chelsea interested in Kolo Muani
Nicolas Jackson is currently leading the line for the Blues and has made a very good start to the season, whilst there are question marks surrounding the future of Christopher Nkunku.
January is expected to focus on outgoings with the Blues keen to find solutions for the likes of Ben Chilwell and Carney Chukwuemeka.
However, that hasn’t stopped Chelsea being linked with players and TEAMtalk have reported the Blues are fans of France international Kolo Muani.
The reports adds the Blues admire his versatility, with the 26-year-old able to play all across the front line, whilst Chelsea are believed to have made contact to find out the conditions for any potential deal.
TEAMtalk adds that Kolo Muani would be interested in a move to Stamford Bridge with their squad something he would like to be part of.
The forward is expected to leave the French champions next month, although there are a whole host of clubs interested including Manchester United.
It’s unclear how much PSG would want for the forward, but they are unlikely to get anywhere near the £76.4m they paid for him.
The Frenchman is under contract until 2028, but he’s started just two league games all season and is surplus to requirements in the French Capital.
Kolo Muani has scored two goals in 14 appearances in all competitions this season, and it would be surprising to see Chelsea make a move as they would need to free up space in the squad beforehand to make room, with an exit for Christopher Nkunku unlikely until next summer at the earliest.
