“I loved his style of play” “I want him here at Saudi” – Cristiano Ronaldo’s club set to offer Chelsea star lucrative offer to leave Stamford Bridge

Saudi Arabian giants Al-Nassr are reportedly preparing a blockbuster offer for Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella — a bid described by Spanish outlet Marca as one that will be “hard to refuse.”

Cucurella, 27, has emerged as a top target for Cristiano Ronaldo’s club as they look to bolster their squad with proven European talent.

The Saudi Pro League side are reportedly ready to offer not only a significant transfer fee to Chelsea, but also a key role for the Spanish defender within their team — a move that could test the Blues’ resolve.

However, the situation is far from straightforward.

Despite the expected financial muscle behind the offer, Cucurella is said to be focused on staying in the Premier League. The former Brighton defender has found his form again and is determined to prove himself in English football after a mixed start to life at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca reportedly sees Cucurella as a “fundamentally important player” in his setup. The Spaniard has impressed under his watch, adapting well to Maresca’s tactical demands, which place a premium on full-backs who are comfortable on the ball and able to step into midfield — something Cucurella excels at.

Letting him go now would not only risk disrupting the balance of the squad, but also go against Maresca’s reported preference to retain the player.

Cucurella’s current contract runs until June 2028, putting Chelsea in a strong position to negotiate — or reject — any advances.

However, with Financial Fair Play always lingering in the background and the lure of a hefty profit, the Blues could be tempted to listen if Al-Nassr’s offer is as eye-watering as it sounds.
