The final two first team players to return to full Chelsea training were Marc Cucurella and Cole Palmer, who spent a few days at Cobham this week getting themselves up to speed.
They were had to do the same tests, including one that gauges jumping power, as the rest of the team when preseason got underway.
Cucurella performed the famous “SIIII” celebration of famous high jumper Cristiano Ronaldo as a way to show his happiness in outperforming Palmer in that workout.
He was playing like Ronaldo at the Euros… let’s hope he carries that form into the season.
