“I pray he doesn’t start” “He’s not impressing us” – Nicolas Anelka warns Enzo Maresca against Starting 22-years-old Chelsea star

Chelsea are looking to make it six wins in a row in all competitions today with the visit of Nottingham Forest to Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca is one of the favourites for the manager of the month award for September, and it has to be said he is managing his squad brilliantly so far this season.

He has maintained a very similar side for Premier League games so far this season, with a number of those players proving too difficult to drop right now.

This has included Cole Palmer, who pundits are calling the best player in England at the moment after his electric start to the campaign.

Another player who greatly impressed Maresca at the start of the campaign is Noni Madueke, however the shine has very much disappeared a bit in recent weeks.

Noni Madueke must shine for Chelsea at Nottingham Forest. Nicolas Anelka criticised the winger for being overly selfish.

“He’s a good player but he’s so selfish this team is a great team Enzo Maresca wants to build a team spirit that is all football is all about not individually”

“Chelsea need to kill matches ontime and Noni Madekue needs to stop been selfish, i guess he needs to be bench to learn more from the boys” Nicolas tweeted.

This is not to say that the winger is playing badly. In fact, the defensive element he has added to his game has seen him continue to improve a lot from where he was at last season.

Madueke was described as ‘untouchable’ as far as potential moves away from Chelsea go after he broke into the side permanently, following a summer of uncertainty.
Pedro Neto pushing for a start

However, the England international will no doubt be looking over his shoulder at the performances of Pedro Neto as reason to believe his place in the side could be in doubt.

The Portugal international has found the net in both of his last two starts in all competitions, and has been a regular off the bench in league games.

With him no doubt signed for a role on the right of attack in mind, there will be an appetite to see him feature there from the start for a run soon.

Madueke has to respond in the coming games, with there being no better chance to than the Premier League clash with Forest today.
