“I pray he doesn’t start” “He’s too good to start” – Crystal Palace Coach says he can’t stand 22-years-old Chelsea star ahead of Palace clash
Oliver Glasner, the manager of Crystal Palace, has issued a warning to Cole Palmer and Chelsea ahead of their Sunday trip to Stamford Bridge.
With Palace seeking their first Premier League points of the year, Glasner could only be able to use two established central defenders to fit into his three-at-the-back formation of choice.
The Palace coach has praised Cole Palmer for keeping the Chelsea team together in the lead-up to Sunday’s match at the Bridge, as well as Enzo Maresca and his Chelsea players.
Of course, there is a lot of debate over the number of players, but in terms of skill, this is an incredible team. Oliver Glasner stated
“Cole Palmer is a threat to any team, so we need to handle him well so he won’t make us suffer.”
“I watched yesterday’s Europa League match against Servette. They changed eight or nine players, but they’re still fantastic players on the pitch, and it’s clear what they were looking for: very talented players in offence, a lot of pace.”
“Chelsea has shown flashes of brilliance so far this season and will be intent on moving up the league table.”
“Cole Palmer provided three assists to Noni Madueke, who scored a brilliant hat-trick last week and will look to repeat his heroics this weekend.”
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace has struggled in the past year but has recently improved under Oliver Glasner.
On paper, Chelsea is superior, so they ought to be able to win this match.
