“I swear he’s a monster” “Unbelievable player” – Fans Hails Chelsea star after what he did in 3-2 win over Forest

Social media users of Chelsea have praised skipper Reece James for helping to win the game against Nottingham Forest.

On Saturday, May 11, in a Premier League match at the City Ground, the Blues overcame a 2-1 deficit to defeat Forest 3-2. Notably, James made his first appearance for the team since defeating Blackburn Rovers 2-0 in the EFL Cup’s fourth round back in November of last year.

He had had surgery for a hamstring ailment, which had kept him out of action for more than six months. In the 79th minute, the Englishman took Conor Gallagher’s position. Three minutes later, he sent a cross from the right wing that found its way to Nicolas Jackson, who headed the ball home at the far post to win the game.

After the game, Chelsea fans on X (formerly Twitter) lauded James for his instant impact, with one of them writing:

“Reece James comes in and 3 minutes later the comeback is completed. Unbelievable.”

Another tweeted:

“I swear, there is no substitute for Reece James. He’s different class.

A third fan wrote:

“That’s what your superstars do. That’s what separates the greats from the elites. Reece James, one of a kind.”

Yet another supporter tweeted:

“11 minutes played and assisted the winner. Reece James is that guy. ©️”
