“I want more of him” “He’s my man of the match” – Florent Malouda really impressed with what £150k-a-week Chelsea star do despite 2-1 defeat to Liverpool
Chelsea failed to leave Anfield with anything earlier, falling 2-1 against Liverpool.
However, there were some positives for Enzo Maresca’s team to take home. Some players truly gave good performances.
Nicolas Jackson scored and impressed former Everton midfielder Leon Osman. Osman lauded Jackson’s finishing throughout the game, stating that it is improving.
Moises Caicedo also played well, and his performance was appreciated.
Florent Malouda discusses Moises Caicedo
Despite losing the game, former Chelsea great Florent Malouda had positive things to say about Caicedo and Chelsea in general.
The former attacker claimed that the midfielder was “very good again” and that Chelsea were “on the rise”.
Florent Malouda stated: “He was very good again, and he’s on the rise again.”
“Want more from him, a very solid player to watch more” he commented.
The Blues’ loss against Liverpool means they will end the weekend outside of the top four. However, with only losses to the Reds and Manchester City, they have not had the worst start to the season.
