“I will still fight to stay at Chelsea” “I love this club” – £200,000-a-week Chelsea star sends clear message to Enzo Maresca after turning him down

Looks like Chelsea leftback Ben Chilwell will finally end up staying at Chelsea as the England international deal gets collapsed again.

It was reported Enzo Maresca claims Chilwell is not in his plan, but the Englan man wants to stay at Chelsea and prove haters wrong if given the chance.

The source claims that Chelsea has made offers to Turkey’s “top clubs” for Ben Chilwell, but their attempts to get the full-back off their books have not succeeded thus far.

In other stories from Friday’s Paper Round, Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho aims to provide Antony with a way out of Manchester United, and Brazilian powerhouse Flamengo has reached out to Anthony Martial, a former United striker who is currently a free agent.

Clubs in Turkey reject Chilwell

Although Ben Chilwell of Chelsea has been linked to a move to Turkey, it appears that the full-back will remain in England for the time being.

According to The Mirror, The Blues had made offers for Chilwell to “top clubs” in Turkey, but no agreement had been reached as of yet.

“The Blues are attempting to find a solution for the 27-year-old defender after he was frozen out of the first-team picture by Enzo Maresca last month,” the article continues.

“However, Premier League interest was few and far between and now the Turkish market represents Chelsea’s only chance of shifting Chilwell’s £200,000-a-week wages from their books as their transfer window does not close until September 13.

“However, despite floating Chilwell to the likes of Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Istanbul Basaksehir, none of those clubs have shown any appetite to explore a deal. It remains to be seen whether the picture changes before the impending deadline.

“Chelsea were looking for permanent buyers in the final stretch of the summer window but they are also open to loaning Chilwell, who at this stage looks to remain in the cold, as it could help them save some cash.

“Brentford are believed to have made a late enquiry for the England international but the Bees never followed up their interest.”

If any offer does not comes in for Ben Chilwell he will surely end up staying at Chelsea.
