Antonio Rudiger appears to have fallen into some kind of mid-life crisis following Germany’s premature exit from the World Cup.
The world champions exited at the group stage, and really didn’t deserve to go any further. Rudiger was involved and failed to impress in Russia. He’ll be looking to put that behind him as his return to Cobham for pre-season approaches.
Ahead of his reunion with his Chelsea teammates, Rudiger has gone for a change of style. The 25-year-old appears to have had his hair bleached blonde, which may take some time for us to get used to.
The below photo is doing the rounds on Twitter.

It may be a new hairstyle for Rudiger, but we hope it’s more of the same next season in terms of his performances in a Chelsea shirt.
He was one of our best players following the turn of the year. Whether it be Antonio Conte or Maurizio Sarri in charge next term, we imagine Rudiger’s going to play an important role.
