Incoming boss Pochettino tells board he wants £125M vlaued midfielder signed for Chelsea
According to latest reports, Incoming CHELSEA boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to try and secure a transfer deal for Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham.
However, Pochettino will be Chelsea’s fourth manager in a year, with new co-owner Todd Boehly already axing Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter, before naming Frank Lampard on an interim basis.
Meanwhile, Lampard is expected to finish the season with Chelsea while the final touches are put to the Pochettino deal – but it seems that the Argentine boss already has players that he wants to bring to the club.
The TalkSport website has claimed that Pochettino would like to add another number six to the side – especially with Ngolo Kante expected to leave the club in the summer.
The Frenchman is out of contract at Stamford Bridge – and although he would like to stay at the club – it is believed that the new Chelsea board do not want to pay his massive wages and would allow him to depart.
And Bellingham is seen as a player that would offer alot to that Chelsea side – with his ability on the ball and his energy in midfield something that Chelsea have been lacking this season.
