‘It’s on the table’ ‘I want Chelsea move’- Chelsea seriously considering signing striker in the form of his life this summer
All eyes as far as the summer transfer market are concerned for Chelsea will be on which striker they sign in what will be a busy transfer window.
Nicolas Jackson has enjoyed a positive tenure at Stamford Bridge since his switch from Villarreal, however has been the only real option available to the Blues since his arrival.
This has been shown in the tough couple of months that Chelsea have suffered since he got injured at the start of February. Enzo Maresca has deployed Pedro Neto in this position to limited success.
The Blues have been linked to a number of big name additions for the position, with it by no means a certainty that they stop at just one signing in the role.
The likes of Liam Delap, Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen are all targets of the club, however all be wanted by a number of top elite clubs.
Chelsea considering bid for Emanuel Emegha
Those sides may well be able to offer players Champions League football, a promise that is nowhere near a certainty at Stamford Bridge at this stage.
Chelsea may therefore have to look elsewhere, and one player who could be a very realistic signing is Emanuel Emegha, who is currently starting up front for Strasbourg.
Standing at 6ft 5in, Emegha could be the perfect option for Chelsea as they search for a new avenue to goal, particularly from crosses and set pieces.
According to journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter, the possibility of the Blues signing the young striker is serious, and under consideration.
He said: “Emanuel Emegha to Chelsea? It’s on the table!!”

Emanuel Emegha’s electric form
If Chelsea are looking for a striker who is in good form in 2025, there will be few who fit the bill more than Emegha.
The Dutchman has been brilliant in 2025, frequently finding the net in a spell where his side are seriously threaten to disrupt the big sides in Ligue 1.
Alongside Chelsea loanees Andrey Santos and Djordje Petrovic, Emegha has been one of the more important players for Strasbourg, with them seriously pushing towards qualifying for European football next season.
Blues fans may be underwhelmed if Emegha is the only striker signed by the club this summer, however no doubt has a bright future in the game.
